How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
What You’ll Need:
- A strip of paper, thin string, or non-stretchy thread
- A ruler (with millimeters)
- A pen or marker
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Wrap it around your finger: Take the paper or string and gently wrap it around the base of the finger you want to size. Make sure it’s snug, but not tight. It should slide over your knuckle with some resistance.
2. Mark the overlap point: Use a pen or marker to mark the exact spot where the paper or string overlaps.
3. Measure the length: Lay the strip flat and measure the distance from the end to the mark in millimeters. This is your finger’s circumference.
4. Match to size chart: Use the chart below to find your closest US ring size based on the circumference.
Tips:
- Measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s warm (fingers can swell slightly).
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold because your fingers will be smaller.
- If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
- Always measure the exact finger the ring will be worn on as sizes can differ between fingers.
